Overview

Architected a comprehensive food redistribution ecosystem connecting food banks, food rescuers, meal programs and organizations serving people in need. Built seven interconnected applications with shared authentication and real-time data synchronization.

Challenge

One-third of all food produced globally is wasted while millions face food insecurity. The organization needed a technology platform to build an efficient network redirecting surplus food to those who need it most.

Solution

Led the migration from a React SPA to Next.js, improving performance by 35% and SEO by 40%. Implemented a headless CMS with Strapi and PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Storage, and real-time WebSocket synchronization across all applications.
